MOFFA was established in 1991 as a non-profit organization. We strive to build a sustainable net work of individuals & organizations that support small farms, family gardens and ecologically sound businesses.

Your membership puts you in touch with a wide network of farmers, producers and consumers. Annual dues are $25 per family/farm per year or $45 for 2 years.  Student memberships are $12 per year.  This entitles you to voting rights and a quarterly newsletter, and reduced admission price to the MOFFA Winter Meeting.

A 9 person Board of Directors and a group of committee chair people serve the members. The people serving on the all-volunteer board offer a wide range of expertise and experience in sustainable farming, raising of livestock & poultry, food handling, organic certification, soil nutrition and consumer related issues.
